About Dr. Kimberly Bracey ...


A native of Jackson, Mississippi, Kimberly Bracey earned her Ph.D. from Walden University and is currently seeking an Ed.D. from the University of Memphis in Higher and Adult Education. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a Master of Public Education from Belhaven University. As a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Pi Alpha Alpha National Honor Society, and the National Student Leadership Society, she has a long history of service in various schools and communities.


Bracey serves as Program Director at LITE Memphis and has more than 20 years of success in mass tort litigation as well as 5 years of experience in K12 and adult education combined. While working with students in the Jackson Public School District, she served as lead teacher, providing cross curriculum instruction and design along with teacher consultation. Bracey is highly regarded for her record of mentoring educators and support staff. She brings to The Magnolia Literacy Project 9 years of expertise in the nonprofit sector, including 5 years as the Founder and Executive Director of her own nonprofit, Aunt Joyce's Kids, a 501c3 that assists families caring for chronically and catastrophically ill children.
