Magnolia Literacy Project Founder Discusses Representation, Identity, and Culture in Mississippi

LaWanda Dickens recently appeared on The Goddess Power Show with host, Elizabeth Atkins. Dickens, a writer, educator, and former journalist, recited her poem "Country", which celebrates her upbringing in rural Brookhaven, Mississippi.
