Trevian Strong "Zooming in on Misogynoir"

Investigating the various ways misogynoir plays out in everyday life, Trevian Strong, a May 2021, graduate of Jackson State University, hosted a panel discussion on Wednesday, February 24, 2021.

Pictured to the left, Strong moderated for this virtual event, which consisted of panelists from Jackson State University. Speakers included Dr. RaShell Smith-Spears, Professor of English; Dr. ConSandra McNeal, Professor of Sociology; and Ms. Tiffany Hoard, MLI Data Collector/Social Media Marketing & Webmaster. Psychologist, Shayla Tumbling, also served on the panel. Students from Jackson State and Tougaloo College attended in addition to various individuals from Jackson and surrounding communities.
